Area of a Parallelogram

Parallelogram - a four sided figure with opposite sides parallel and equal in length.

Here is a diagram to help :


Base - a side of a closed 2 dimensional figure.
- common symbol b



Height - the perpendicular distance from the base to the opposite side.
- common symbol h
