RANGE AND OUTLIERS
RANGE= To find the range in a group of numbers 4, 5, 14, 12, 3, 9, 7, 44, 17 you take the largest number witch is 44 and subtract the smallest number witch is 3 44 - 3 = 41 and 41 is your range.
OUTLIERS= To find the outlier in the same group of numbers 4, 5, 14, 12, 3, 9, 7, 44, 17 the number 44 is your outlier because it is the most farthest apart then all the rest.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF AN OUTLIER IN A SET OF DATA
2 15 18 21 16 19 14 23 112 25 [ 2, 112] ARE THE OUTLIERS
PLEASE COMMENT :)
- This is what we learned in class on thursday!!!!!!!
People living in diffrent places
This is called a Circle Diagram
We learned that a circle graph can help you to know the percentage of
the subject you are talking about. Ex: 31% of the people live in Turkey,
21% of the people live in Iran, 19% of the people live in the USA, 7% of the people live in Chile and 20% live in other places.
We also know that all the percentages MUST equal up to 100%
( QUESTION ) if there are 31% out of 100 people living in Turkey how may people are living there?
Mikaela has a pair of turquoise shoes. She wears them every day of the week. What is the probability that she wears them on a day that has the same initial as the color.
1. Use tree diagram or table
2. What is the sample space?

The probability of her picking a yellow marble is
1/7 or 1:7 or 14.3%
Area of a triangle
A = 1/2 x b x h 20 x 12 = 240 240 / 2 = 120 cm 2
OR
HALF OF 20 = 10 X 12 = 120 cm 2
BOTH WAYS GIVE YOU THE SAME ANSWER
