What We Did On Today's Notes

Question: P(heads and tails) When flipping a regular coin, use a tree diagram to show sample space. Express the answer as a percent. Do Not Read The Answer Until You Are Done Solving The Question.


Answer:

Question 2: P(Rolling a 4 and then a 2) With a six sided die. Express as a ratio. Do Not Read The Answer Until You Are Done Solving The Question.


Answer:
Ratio: 2/6, 2:6, 0.333 SIMPLIFY 1/3, 1:3, 0.333

Random- An event which every outcome has an equal chance of occurring/happening

Example: When you're in Phys.ed and you have to pick a team mate to be in your team. You have to close your eyes and spin around and choose RANDOMLY, whoever you point to is the person who is now on your team.
